So glad you stopped by! In summary, I'm a lover of the Lord and devoted dog mom with weaknesses for vintage treasures, fabulous shoes and seeking out the perfect lip gloss. When I'm not photographing babies, children and high school seniors, I love traveling, antiquing and supporting several causes close to my heart. I'm probably one of the most nostalgic people you'll ever meet and that, along with giving back, has helped shape who I am and the art I create. “M” family – Teasers {Dallas Fort Worth Child and Family Photographer}

When I received a phone call about photographing the “M” family I couldn’t believe what a small world it is. Their precious new baby was born with a cleft lip and they wanted to document him before the surgery – which is being done this week by the amazing Dr. Hobar, who started the LEAP Foundation that my husband and I volunteer with. I’ve been so fortunate to document the good work LEAP is doing in other countries and felt so blessed that a mutual friend and client referred the M’s to me–they weren’t even aware of my connection to their surgeon.

“M” Family, I have SO MANY amazing shots from your session – the love you all share and the faith you have truly shined through and I thank you for choosing me to document this time in your life. My prayers are with little “R” and I know he’s in excellent hands. Here are a just few teasers – many more to come! Enjoy!

Little Walker {Dallas Fort Worth Children’s Photographer}

Little “G” {Dallas Fort Worth Children’s Photographer}

This little punkin’ kept me on my toes for the whole shoot – which I love! Her mom wanted photos of her in a dress she wore as a flower girl, but also brought some other dresses. Oh how this shoot makes me want a little girl! Or to be a little girl again! Seriously, is she not one stylin’ little toddler? I adore all of her dresses but the one in orange and blue was handmade and if I didn’t look silly wearing it, I’d want one for myself! Thank you “B” family for the opportunity to photograph your sweet little angel! I can’t wait for baby #2 to arrive soon and the opportunity to photograph him! Enjoy these faves!

Less than a year ago, Tiffany found me on Facebook. Oh how I love Facebook and the people it has brought back into my life!We attended the same college and met at the bookstore where we both worked part-time. I had not seen her in years (like 10 maybe?) and it was such a pleasant surprise. She is one of those people you just love to be around— so positive and has the sweetest voice and laughter (I was so excited to capture a lot of Tiffany’s laughter in these images.) We had a great time reconnecting over a three hour dinner where I got to hear all about her sweetie, Stephen, and his adorable little boy.

Fast forward several months later and I had the honor of photographing their super chic and intimate ceremony and I’m so glad I could be a part of their day! It rained. And rained. And rained. And I was a tiny bit bummed because we were supposed to do a bridal session in the gardens before the ceremony but it just wasn’t going to happen. Looking back, I really believe God provided a beautiful backdrop for their day which included the fall rain and lush autumn foliage. Tiffany and Stephen, here are a few faves (ok, many faves!) from your big day. May your life together be filled with many blessings! I’m looking forward to spending more time with you both!
