Margaret ~ Class of 2011 {Dallas Fort Worth Senior Photographer}

When Miss Margaret came into my studio for her consult, I knew we were going to be a great team.Β  She has such a great sense of style and a charm about her that I can only hope my camera captured.Β  Margaret’s adorable little sis also tagged along and jumped in for a few of them together.Β  All I can say is it’s kids like them that make me adore what I do!Β  So much FUN!!Β  Margaret, thank you for selecting me to document this special time in your life.Β  No doubt you are going to accomplish many things.Β  Enjoy these faves of mine!

With her little sis, Bridgett:

Kayla - She is so beautiful and has a look of such confidence. I bet she is going to take the world by storm! I wish I was that put together when I was a senior…. She has better style than I will probably every have and she is 10 years my junior!
Seriously one of my favorite shoots!

“W” Family {Dallas Fort Worth Family & Child Photographer}

I have to admit, I get little butterflies before every shoot.Β  And when a fellow photog asks me to take their family photos?Β  Beyond butterflies. I’m not sure why photographing another photographer is so nail-biting but I’ve heard other photogs say the same thing.Β  Maybe it’s because we’re all perfectionists and see the world in our own little way and want everyone else to like that “way”?Β  Who knows?Β  All I know is that I am super blessed to know Maureen (along with the rest of our little FOCUS group), a super talented photographer from Louisiana, and to have had the honor of capturing her gorgeous family.Β  Maureen and Bo, thank you from the bottom of my heart.Β  I hope you like “my own little way” of seeing the world…your world…and the beautiful family you’ve created!

Also, special thanks to my mom for filling in and helping me with the shoot!

How cute is this dress?Β  Maureen is so talented – she made it!Β  Loves!

Landon is six months old! {Dallas Fort Worth Children’s Photographer}

Before my “retirement” from wedding photography, I had the pleasure of documenting this punkin’s parents’ wedding, his mommy’s maternity photos and did his newborn session.Β  Such a blessing!Β  Here are some faves from his six month session but you’ll be seeing him again real soon — he and his adorable same-age cousin came in this past weekend for a holiday couture session and I can’t wait to blog those!Β  Thanks, Tiffany, for your loyalty and friendship – you are a beautiful mommy and it warms my heart to capture you and your little man!

His daddy bought him his first soccer ball –

LOVE LOVE LOVE this moment –

“M” Sisters {Dallas Fort Worth Child & Family Photographer}

These two lovelies were such a joy to photograph!Β  We had a great time walking through the woods behind their beautiful home, climbing trees, and putting together fun looks with all the fabulous winter pieces they pulled together for our shoot.Β  Thank you “M” family for such a fun Friday afternoon – I hope you love these faves of mine!

We had absolutely beautiful warm light, for two beautiful girls!

A Christmas wish, perhaps?

They spend a lot of time here fishing with their mom and dad – priceless…

And last but not least, we had to include their adorable shih-tzu buddies!
