This farm session was full of sweetness — a Labradoodle named Sugar, a brand new calf, a rainbow butterfly sucker and of course, one curly-topped two-year-old on the go. What a special treat to not only have little “G’s” best furry friend along for the fun, but to arrive at Grapevine’s Nash Farm and find that the resident cow, Gertie, had given birth to a sweet boy on Mother’s Day just a few days before.

Little “G” was certainly intrigued by Gertie and son, but wouldn’t dare go near.  She and her trusty Sugar spent the time exploring the grounds while I happily tagged along documenting their adventure. I did, however, have to pet sweet Gertie’s baby. What a beautiful creature!

Our location couldn’t have been more perfect as I think back to “G’s” parents’ beautiful country-chic ranch wedding, complete with custom cowboy boots.  Thanks again, “M” family for letting me continue documenting your journey!
