Baby “P” {Dallas Fort Worth Child and Baby Photographer}

Oh how I love a sweet newborn session!  Little “P” is “G”‘s new baby brother (go check out her recent shoot here) and I had so much fun photographing them together.  It’s so challenging (in a good way) and good for the creative juices to go to a client’s home and start from scratch – no session is ever like another which I love!  For instance, check out the fab baroque wallpaper in one of these shots – I have the most stylish clients!

Thanks you “B” family, again, for the opportunity to photograph your growing family!  Here are some of my faves—

Congrats Jennifer & Michael!

Well… this is it.  My last wedding to blog.  Such mixed emotions! (You can read about my decision here.)

This one has taken me a while to edit as I had a fabulous second shooter, Jamie from Deerinwater Designs – and together we captured a TON of images! I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a second shooter on your big day to help capture a different perspective.

This wedding had so many amazing details – from the bride’s exquisite Glamelia bouquet (one large rose made up of a bunch of different rose petals) to the home-made invitations by Jennifer’s mom – they looked so expensive!

Jennifer and Michael, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day.  It was an honor.  I hope you enjoy these favorites and may God bless you as you grow in your love together.  You are a beautiful couple!

I’ve never seen anything like this – her Glamelia bouquet – popular in the 40′s and 50′s— SO GLAM!!!

I think this has to be one of my favorite detail shots of shoes that I’ve done – I love the simplicity of sweet ballet flats and her burgundy polish that matched the day!

I didn’t even know Michael was Greek until his family started dancing!  It was so fun!

“M” Family {Dallas Fort Worth Child and Family Photographer}

This family was so special to me (all my families are, don’t get me wrong!) because as I stated in their teasers, they were wanting to capture their family with baby “R” before he underwent surgery to correct his cleft lip. The surgeon doing it (Dr. Craig Hobar) was the one that started the LEAP Foundation that John and I volunteer with.  I really felt God had put us together to create these images and I’m so thankful they chose me (they didn’t know my connection to LEAP).  Thank you again “M” family.  I so hope we can do this again!  Your boys are simply beautiful!!  Fyi, little “R” is recovering nicely so thanks to my readers for your prayers!

I hope they don’t kill me for posting this next batch but I couldn’t resist – how cute is this couple?  I love capturing the connection between people and this just makes my heart smile!

At the end of our shoot, I looked over and saw little “R’s” grandmother holding him and sucking on her finger like he does with his mom.  I love this moment…
